Whether working with dancers or general clients, her goal is to help individuals feel stronger, more balanced, and more connected to their bodies in everyday life.
Lacey Canutt is a classically trained dancer and dedicated educator with over eight years of experience teaching young dancers. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus in dance and business at Belhaven University, where she trained in person for two years and further developed her expertise in dance performance and instruction.
Lacey began her training at Allegro Dance Studio in Oregon, building a strong foundation across a wide range of styles, including ballet, pointe, contemporary, jazz, tap, and acrobatics. She continued her pre-professional training at The Portland Ballet, focusing on ballet, pointe, variations, pas de deux, and modern techniques.
As a teaching assistant, Lacey has guided students from creative movement through intermediate levels, providing individualized corrections, structuring classes, and fostering a positive, disciplined learning environment. She is passionate about helping dancers grow in both technique and artistry while cultivating confidence and body awareness.
In addition to her dance training, Lacey has experience in Pilates mat and reformer work, emphasizing safe movement practices, strength, and injury prevention. Her teaching blends technical excellence with encouragement, creating a supportive space where students are inspired to learn and express themselves.
